Celia Hooson is a qualified social worker who has worked for many years across mental health and adult social care services in Greater Manchester in both the statutory and voluntary sectors. She has trained in horticulture and has an RHS Level 2 qualification. She has over ten years experience of project managing school and community gardening projects with Nicola, including running groups for adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs and with carers. Celia has completed an MSc in Sustainability at Salford University, where she specialised in nature friendly approaches to food growing. She is a life long nature lover and has a particular interest in exploring nature-connectedness and sustainability.
